Statistic estimates the population.
- How representative the sample to the population.
- A sample statistic may not be able to get exact value as the population (sampling
error occur)
- different sample of statistic from same population may yield different estimate.
- If sampling is repeated many time, the statistic may approach the true value of population
Standard error is how good a sample mean is representing, larger the SE more crude the data. large sample size reduced SE
